Central Columbia FFA President Participates in Wildlife and Fisheries Conference

Central Columbia's Agricultural/Environmental Science Program and FFA Chapter was busy again today during National FFA Week by being represented at the 2019 Pennsylvania Chapter of Wildlife and American Fisheries Society Annual Conference.  Mackenzie Fish, Central Columbia FFA Chapter President travelled to State College, PA on Friday, February 22, 2019 to participate in the annual conference.  While there she participated in the following educational workshops: In-stream tag monitoring for Eastern Hellbenders Salamanders, the Delaware dam-breach with threatened Eastern Red-belly turtles, grass land management and reintroduction of Regal Fritillary Butterfly, optimizing passive acoustic sampling of bats and assessing the role of Lepidoptera Larvae abundance on productivity of a specialist songbird.  Great educational opportunity!
